The Quiet Migration of Belonging: Where Nothing Settles

Transparent layers of English words and Persian calligraphy hang between the visitor and a wall of text panels, so every phrase — 'It begins quietly', 'not yet', 'almost there', 'Becomes' — is read twice: once as type and once as shadow. The wall text names its terms: suspension, liminality, becoming.

The second room of The Quiet Migration of Belonging. Hanging text panels — Suspends, Under and others — line the walls; in front of them, transparent sheets carry English phrases alongside Persian calligraphy. Gallery light throws the type onto the walls behind, where it overlaps the panels and changes as the visitor moves.
